His major interests are the paraviral exanthems, novel applications of dermoscopy, and dermoscope-guided surgical procedures. He has published 176 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has also authored nine book chapters. He has made a significant contribution to paraviral exanthems.

Leong Kin Fon is the president of the Malaysia eczema society (since 2020) and has also served as the President of DEBRA Malaysia (2013 – 2020). He is actively involved in voluntary work with various national and international humanitarian organizations such as MERCY, TIMA, and Medecen San Frontier. He was given ILDS humanitarian award in 2017. His special interests include eczema, acne, psoriasis, birthmarks, port wine stain, nevus of Ota, hemangioma, vascular lesions, and common skin problems in children, adolescent and young adults.

She is holding the position of the President of the Italian Society of Pediatric Dermatology (SIDerP), President of the Italian Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (SISAV). Rahul Mahajan is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. He has published more than 75 research papers in indexed journals. His current work includes clinical and translational research on epidermolysis bullosa and congenital ichthyosis, pediatric atopic eczema, pediatric psoriasis, pediatric alopecia areata, and infantile hemangioma and he is the lead investigator in the six research projects. He has helped to set up diagnostic next-generation sequencing facilities for EB and congenital ichthyosis at his institute in India, and initiated pilot clinical trials on investigational drugs in these disorders. For his contribution in dermatology, he was awarded the membership for the “National Academy of Medical Sciences” in the year 2016. He is the section Editor of the Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology; the Deputy Editor of the Indian Dermatology Online Journal; and the Editorial Board Member of the Indian Society of Pediatric Dermatology.

He completed his medical school from Mysore University, Karnataka, MD in dermatology from CMC, Vellore, and fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. He also did a clinical fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at the Children’s Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University, Chicago for about a year (2003-2004), and a postdoctoral research fellowship for two years (2004-2006) at the Department of Dermatology, university of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He works as a Pediatric Dermatologist and runs clinics for skin problems in Children. In addition he is also responsible for the in-patient consultations. The hospitals he practices cater for a wide variety of patients from different demographic and socio-economic background. At Centre for Human Genetics, his wok focuses on clinical care of genodermatosis. I have been a principal investigator for the study titled “Genetic Analysis of Epidermolysis Bullosa in Indian patients” and a Co-investigator for the study titled “Generation of Monoclonal Antibodies for identification of Subtypes of Epidermolysis bullosa using Immunofluorescence.” His special interests include eczemas, hemangiomas of infancy, alopecia areata and vitiligo in children and genodermatoses particularly epidermolysis bullosa.

He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Paediatric Dermatology (IJPD) and an editorial board member of several dermatology and pediatric dermatology journals. His fields of interest are pediatric dermatology, atopic dermatitis, urticarial, and adverse cutaneous drug eruptions. Currently he is a member of International Eczema Council (IEC) and is actively involved with various projects and academic activities of IEC.

She is one of the founders of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Dermatology (1999) and presently the special secretary of the society. She is a board member of the European Society for Pediatric Dermatology (ESPD) since 1999. She was the secretary of the ESPD between 2008 and 2010 and the president of the ESPD between 2010 and 2012. She has participated as an organizer, lecturer and/or chairperson in many National, European and World congresses. She is the author of several book-chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals in the field of pediatric dermatology. Since 2012 she participates as a lecturer in the fostering courses of pediatric dermatology held by the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) for trainees in Dermatology in Europe. He has over 30 years experience in clinical and experimental dermatology, both in academia and innovative biotechnology industry. He is German Board certified in Dermatology and in Allergy in addition to his previous Board Certification in Pathology. He is a Fellow of American Academy of Dermatology, European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology and European Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and an active member of the PeDRA. He has presented over 520 lectures at national and international conferences, and published over 125 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, numerous book chapters, including the most recent Springer’s “Disorders of Pigmented Ethnic Skin and Imported Dermatoses”. She was the President of the European Society of Pediatric Dermatology (ESPD) from 2007 to 2009, secretary of the ESPD from 2005 to 2007, and is currently the honorary member of the ESPD. She is a board member of the Hungarian Society of Dermatology; head of the workshop committee for Pediatric Dermatology of Hungarian Society of Dermatology; member of the editorial board of different Journals, a former member of clinical investigation board, and scientific board of Heim Pál Children’s Hospital; member of EADV, ISAD, ETFAD, EDF, and former member of the scientific board of the ESPD. She is also an honorary member of the Serbian Society for Dermatovenerology. She was awarded the Kaposi medal in 2009. She organized the ESPD Congress, Budapest in 2005 and is currently organizing the advanced fostering courses in Pediatric Dermatology.
