GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION

  • All of the views expressed during website exchanges will solely be those of the participants. The ISPD and its Board of Directors are not responsible for comments posted on the website. We encourage scientific, evidence-based discussions.

  • Views expressed on the ISPD website will be unbiased and any potential conflict of interests will be declared.

  • All cases posted with recognizable images will require pre-posting written consent from the patient and/or parents of the patient sent to the Editor.

  • No offensive or provocative comments will be tolerated. The aim of these academic activities is to maintain the healthy discussion forums. If posted, these comments will be removed immediately and the person posting them risks exclusion from site activities, pending Board review.

  • If the submitted case contains patient’s image/s or data that reveals patient’s identity, a written consent duly signed by the parents should be obtained and submitted with the case. Identifying details that are not necessary, should be omitted in description. In violation of this, responsibility will solely of the presenter/author. ISPD and its Editorial Board will not bear any responsibility.

Cases will be posted online for discussion for 1 month and all discussion must be conducted within the month of posting. An archive of posted photographs and bulleted discussion summary will be available.
