

ISPD EDUCATION: AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The ISPD Board of Directors created the ISPD-Education Editorial Board to promote the education in Pediatric Dermatology globally and share experiences among ISPD members and experts in the field.
Who Can Access
ISPD-Education is a protected website. Registered ISPD members, the ISPD-Education Editorial Board Members, ISPD Advisory Board Members, and the ISPD Board of Directors will have access to these website-based academic discussions via their e-mail ID/login password.
ISPD Education Activities

Clinical Cases:
i) Cases for E-Learning
A Pediatric Dermatology case for diagnosis is posted once every two weeks and the diagnosis with bulleted teaching points appears the next week. Cases for this activity are contributed by ISPD Education Editorial board members, advisory board members, executive board members.
ii) Clinical Cases for Discussion
1. Cases for diagnosis
2. Cases posing therapeutic challenge
3. Rare/interesting teaching cases
Submitted cases will be reviewed initially for clarity of the photographs and description, as well as potential teaching value by an ISPD-Education Editorial Board member. In put will be collected from the Advisory team, and the Editorial Board member assigned for the case will post a short summary.
Submitters of cases will be encouraged to send follow up information that could elucidate the diagnosis or therapeutic course. If a rare case is submitted, viewers who may have a similar case can offer assistance (e.g., offer of genotyping or other service without cost) are encouraged to send a note to the ISPD, providing an opportunity to link the anonymous submitter of the original case(s) with others for potential publication and assistance.
2. ISPD-Grand Rounds (Webinars):
Starting from beginning of 2021, the ISPD board of directors have decided to conduct quarterly ISPD-grand rounds (webinars) focusing on the important Pediatric Dermatology topics of global importance (birth marks, papulosquamous disorders, infections, autoimmune and autoinflammatory disorders, genodermatoses, etc.) and controversies in Pediatric Dermatology. International experts in the relative fields will be invited to share in these grand rounds. The activity will be free to all those who are interested.
3. ISPD News Bulletin:
ISPD News Bulletin are released quarterly (January/April/July/October) since July 2019. The content includes:

Any other news updates related to pediatric dermatology including emerging viruses, tropical diseases, primary/acquired immunodeficiencies/stem cell transfer/genetics/new drug trials etc. from authenticated Medical sources (can include review of literature, updates from the conferences in respective fields etc.)

4. ISPD Commentary on new Guidelines of care for Pediatric Skin Disorders:
Based on their expertise & the topic selected for discussion and guidelines development, the ISPD-Education Editorial board members will be assigned and, whenever possible, the international experts will be invited to share their views on the topic and the queries arising during the discussion.
